Most sessions take place outdoors during golden hour for that warm, soft evening light. I have a variety of favorite spots around San Antonio that I love using depending on the vibe you’re going for, and I’m happy to help pick the perfect location for your session.

For seniors, I love incorporating pieces of who you are into the session, not just outfits! If you play a sport, dance, or have a hobby or activity you love, bring along the gear, uniform, or props that go with it — instrument, letterman jacket, cleats, pointe shoes, whatever tells your story. These little details make your gallery feel like you, not just generic senior photos.

As for clothing, plan on bringing a couple of outfit options: think one dressier look and one casual, everyday look that feels like your personal style. Stick to solid colors and soft tones over busy patterns, and don’t forget to bring along anything meaningful — a letterman jacket, a favorite hat, jewelry with sentimental value, even a pet! We can build your session around what feels most like you.

No worries — if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule for the next available date that works for both of us. Your session (and getting great light and a great experience) is worth the wait!
